The much-anticipated third installment of The Hunger Games franchise opened this week in Singapore, much like the rest of the world (maybe?) and boy am I slightly disappointed. Why? Not about the movie but the money-making thing going on. But before I get into that, let me tell you what Mockingjay Part 1 is about.

Let me just begin this review by saying that me and science are not best of friends. It’s not that I don’t get science. I do. I just don’t remember three-quarter of the things I learned back in school because my job does not require me to know science. Math, yes. Science, no. And to think that I was better in science when I was back in school.
Anyway, I watched the movie and spent the entire almost-3 hours confused. I do know it’s about wormhole, time and gravity. Also, Matthew McConaughey might be the next Doctor Who? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (If you watched it, you’ll get what I mean.)

Movie Review: Step Up All In
Singapore is probably the last few countries to release this movie, I don’t even know why. But anyway, I watched it because of Moose (Adam Sevani). That’s the only reason why I watch this dance franchise.
Honestly, the plot has always been the same. The main character is down and out but has this immense passion and talent in dance so he/she does not give up on that and go forth and join dance battles. In the midst of all that, he/she would suffer some setbacks but would eventually overcome it all.
Movie Review: Guardians of the Galaxy
I’ve not been blogging for a month as I was observing Ramadan and came back to WordPress to see changes made. Lots of it. Well, time to get used to this. I have to say though, it’s neater.
Anyway, I’m not here to blog (or rant) about the changes made to WordPress. I’m here as always to do my own movie reviews. The first movie after my month-long hiatus is… Guardians of the Galaxy and I must say that it’s a damn good choice of a movie to come back to because 1) it’s a Marvel movie, and 2) it’s a damn good Marvel movie.
Movie Review: Transformers: Age of Extinction
Yesterday, I caught the fourth installment of the alien robots, Transformers, and can I just ask why movies as such always have idiotic human beings who are afraid of other living things who are actually helping them?
Movie Review: The Fault In Our Stars
Movie Review: How To Train Your Dragon 2
Caught this movie earlier and let’s just start with the fact that I cried, no, sobbed. Animated movies that tugged at my heartstrings are good movies, I tell you that! But what I cannot tell you is what makes me cry because I would spoil the movie for you.
