Music from Glee Episode Review: Shooting Star

My oh my, there are only three songs for the next episode of Glee called “Shooting Star”. I’m not going to spoil what will happen in that episode though the clue is in the title. Sneaky Glee is sneaky.

I have to admit I can’t be called a Gleek anymore because everytime I watch the show, I wanted to cry and ask the creators what had happened. What happened to the Glee I love in Season 1 and 2?

Anyway, I’m not here to rant about what a hot mess Glee had become but I’m going to review the songs for the next episode as non-judgementally as possible.

TV Episode Recap: Game of Thrones – Dark Wings, Dark Words

Game of Thrones is probably the only show with opening credits that I will watch for. Hats off to whoever who did the opening credits. The song was great and the graphic changes as the plot goes along depending on what other places are added to the story. If you notice, this season, the graphics for Winterfell is on fire. Brilliant minds!

Anyway, I’m not here to talk about the opening credits of Game of Thrones. I’m here to recap the latest episode of the show.

Last week’s episode set off the pace for the rest of the season. We saw Daenerys trying to form an army, Tyrion had a chat with his dear father on his living conditions after he helped defeat Stannis’ forces last season, Robb Stark put his mother under house arrest while Jon Snow joined the Wildings.

TV Episode Recap: Spartacus: War of the Damned – The Dead And The Dying

It has to be said that the first post that I make on this new blog of mine would be of “Spartacus”.

I’ll be honest. I just caught up with the show. I saw gifs of the show on my Tumblr dashboard but never really thought of watching it until it tickles my curiosity and I decide that there’s just no harm watching the show. If I do not like it, I can just stop watching it. 

I got hooked.

It’s a show with history, violence, sex and hot naked guys and girls all in one neat package. Who wouldn’t like it?

Anyways, back to the latest episode, the second last episode before the series finale. From here on, be warned that it’s full of spoilers so read on with care.

The last episode, on the Roman camp: Kore fled Crassus’ camp and joined the Rebel Army to get away from Tiberius. Caesar found out the reason Kore left and threatened Tiberius but Tiberius raped him. On the Rebel camp: The Rebel army was separated – Spartacus led the slaves to the Alps while Crixus led those who wanted to have Roman blood spilled battle it out. Agron broke up with Nasir so that Nasir could live and joined Crixus. Crixus’ army met Crassus’ army. Agron fell to Tiberius’ sword and Crixus was speared through the back by Tiberius again. Crixus fell and was beheaded in front of Naevia.
