The Siti That Never Sleeps

This episode keeps with its horror movie-esque feel right from the beginning. This time, the place of interest is the hospital. First, the school. Now, the hospital. Next, a haunted doll house, I’m sure of it.

So, we have a few problems here: 1) Cora Hale is not getting any better because she’s coughing out mistletoe; 2) Jennifer Blake is a Darach and the Alpha Pack is after her. Well, her and Scott; 3) Sheriff Stilinsky is still missing and poor Stiles is hurting because he doesn’t know if his dad is alive or dead.

So what can the gang do in this situation? The solution to all those problems is the Darach. She’s a bitch but she’s a bitch the gang needs. So, the gang tried to save the Darach from the Alpha pack because it’s the only way they can cure Cora from whatever she’s suffering from and know where she held Sheriff Stiles.

While running from the Alpha Pack, Derek and Darach (the names sound almost the same haha) were stuck in an elevator where Jennifer decided to tell Derek, who told her repeatedly he didn’t care, how she became the Darach. Now, as much as I love back stories of how a bad guy isn’t really born a bad guy and I do sympathize slightly how she was almost killed, that does not justify her killing all those people she killed. She called it sacrifice, I called it murder.

Meanwhile, Stiles and Cora were stuck in a non-moving ambulance because the Alpha Pack was still out there. Cora was dead for a while until Stiles saved her through CPR and here we have the first hilarious quote of the episode: “The next time I put my lips on your mouth, you’d better be awake.” So, I guess this means Stiles has a crush on Cora? If so, I totally don’t mind this relationship. When she was back being unconscious and not dead, Stiles confessed that he’s feeling useless and then started crying. Stiles crying makes my heart hurt.

Anyway, later, Peter joined them while Scott went to be the hero that he is and save his mother, Derek and Jennifer. While looking for his mother, Scott was caught by the twins who didn’t want to kill Scott (oh?) but wanted Jennifer. Scott refused to let them know where she was and was rescued by his badass mother!

Throughout this whole time, Isaac was still in the school with Allison and when Isaac couldn’t get through to Scott, he opted to find him at the hospital. The Argents decided to join and help. There, they found Scott and his mother and planned their way to save the rest of the gang. And here we have the second hilarious quote of the day from Isaac when Papa Argent said he wished he knew who Jennifer Blake is: “She’s the woman with the brown hair. She’s kinda hot.” It was made more hilarious when the rest of them started to stare at him.

So they planned and executed said plan. Isaac went on face-time phone call with Allison who was with her father trying to distract the other Alpha Pack wolves. And this plan was brilliant because Allison pretended to be Jennifer Blake only for her to frontflip for style and grabbed her bow and arrows and shot the hell out of the werewolves while Papa Argent came out of his hiding and shot bullets at them. Man, they make an awesome team! They should totally team up with the werewolves. Yes!

Anyway, Isaac took that as a cue to save Stiles, Cora and Peter. While getting out of the ambulance, Stiles saw a paper with “Parent or Guardian” and something clicked in his head and ran away finding Scott. He ran after Scott who found Derek lying on the elevator floor with the Darach nowhere to be found and so is Scott’s mother who was last seen at the rooftop of the hospital. Scott found Deucalion instead who told him that he knew where his mother and Stiles’ father is if he joins his pack. Scott, not knowing what else to do, started moving towards Deucalion. Stiles caught after Scott and this is where the second heartbreaking scene of the season between Scott and Stiles comes in. Stiles tried to stop Scott and told him that they always have a Plan B. Both of them, always. But Scott turned around, both of them crying, and replied that they don’t have a Plan B this time and he will find Stiles’ father. And then he left with Deucalion, leaving Stiles alone on the rooftop, heartbroken because, he didn’t just lose his father but his best friend too. And, really, why do you do this, Jeff Davis?

At the very last scene, we did see a scene between Mama McCall and Sheriff Stilinski. Stiles was right. Or at least, I figured out what he was thinking. The Darach is now sacrificing the parents. She needs three. My guess is that the next person to be in trouble would be Papa Argent. And by the look of the trailer for the next episode, I am right. Oh, the fans’ reactions would be brilliant next week.
